Chocolate Covered Pretzels

An easy sweet & salty hostess gift this season is chocolate covered pretzels. They are also great to give to give to coworkers, friends and neighbors.

The ingredients are simple. All you need are pretzels rods, dark chocolate (it looks better than milk) and sprinkles. Also feel free to get creative with crushed candy canes or a more festive sprinkle.

step by step

Make sure to not overheat your chocolate or else it will create a weird texture that does not smooth over very nicely. I found on my microwave that 2.5 minutes works best. Start out with less time and see if you need more. Once each pretzel is sprinkled, place them on a tray with parchment paper so they don’t stick to the surface.

After they have cooled down (I place tray in the fridge) then put them in a mason jar, add a bow, add a custom glitter hang tag and voilà! You’re done!
